On 3rd May 2021, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange will launch the new Slovenian Blue Chip Total Return Index, with the symbol SBITOPT.

SBITOPT is a total return index that, beside market prices, takes into calculation also confirmed dividends and like the existing SBITOP index, measures the profitability of the most liquid Slovenian shares on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

Composition and calculation parameters of the SBITOPT index, which will be valid as of Monday, 3rd May 2021, is evident from the attachment.

The new index is aimed at providing an underlying for derivatives and structured financial instruments on the Slovene capital market.

The establishment of the new index is a further step in the ongoing efforts of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange to offer investors more useful data and to enable easier investment decisions and more complete and simpler monitoring of market trends.
