Financial Festival
The Ljubljana Stock Exchange organized a two-day Financial Festival on 9th and 10th October as part of World Investor Week.
Both days were packed with educational content and interesting presentations by experienced experts from the financial industry. On Wednesday, 9th October, we presented the path to higher returns. Together with representatives of BKS Bank, Ilirika, OTP Bank, Triglav Skladi and InterCapital Asset Management, we introduced the audience to the world of investing, shares, theory and practice of returns and the importance of diversification.
Our main goal is to encourage the public to better understand and engage with the financial markets. By providing correct and quality information, we aim to eradicate the feeling of uncertainty that people often experience before entering the stock market or before they start investing. With the Financial Festival, we have created a platform where individuals can gain valuable insights and knowledge, they need to successfully manage their finances and investments.
The event was extremely well received and attended, with more than 450 viewers in total watching it live on the Zoom platform. The event was broadcast live on STA, with over 6,600 video views recorded over the two days.
We would like to thank all the Partners of the event and the companies that made it possible:
Zvezdana Kolar, Securities business specialist, BKS Bank AG.
Matjaž Lorenčič, Member of the Management Board, Ilirika.
Daniel Medved, Director of Investment Banking, OTP banka.
Vid Pajič, Senior Investment Fund Manager.
Đivo Pulitika, Fund Manager, InterCapital Asset Management.
The event was moderated by Ms. Jana Kosec, Head of Development and Sales, Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
We wish to thank everyone who participated in the event and urge you to continue to follow us and attend our events to help spread financial literacy.
For those who couldn't attend our event live on Zoom, we're pleased to share that recordings from both days are now available on our YouTube channel on the following link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRGaA8mM51r7J0Sa0CyLH0YQuFyzCitj0
