Event on the listing of the InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange

The stock exchange bell rang again today — this time to mark the listing of the new InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

Together with InterCapital ETF, we hosted media representatives, partners, and capital market stakeholders and marked an important milestone for the domestic ETF market. On this occasion, the President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, Marko Bombač, stated: “At the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, we are pleased with the listing of the new ETF, InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF, which provides Slovenian investors with exposure to the largest Polish companies directly through the domestic stock exchange. This listing therefore opens access for investors to the largest capital market in our region. ETFs are today one of the most important and fastest-growing segments of the financial industry, as they are simple, transparent, and cost-effective products that allow investors diversification practically with a single click. Although they are still at an earlier stage of development in our region, the direction is clear: interest is growing, the offering is expanding, and we believe that the development of these products on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange will continue in the future. The listing of this ETF on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange represents another step toward expanding investment opportunities for domestic investors and strengthening the interconnectedness of regional capital markets.”

The President of the Management Board, Krešo Vugrinčić, and Management Board Member, Đivo Pulitika, emphasized in their presentation that this is an ETF tracking an index of the 30 highest-quality and most liquid stocks from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. WIG30TR is a total return index, meaning that it includes dividends in its return calculation, not just stock price movements. The companies included in the index also include those whose portfolios feature fashion brands such as Reserved, Sinsay, Cropp, Mohito, CCC, and Pepco, as well as the studio behind the well-known video games The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

🚀📈Today’s event is further proof that the Slovenian capital market is becoming increasingly connected with international investment trends and regional opportunities. The Polish market today represents one of the largest and fastest-growing economies in Europe, while the new ETF enables investors to achieve simpler regional diversification directly through the domestic stock exchange.

Thank you to all guests, partners, and the InterCapital ETF team for an excellent event and successful cooperation.
